Freelance Hub

About Freelance Hub

Freelance Hub is a free resource hub for freelancers, consultants, and creatives who want to run a healthier business. The goal is simple: make the core decisions — pricing, contracts, proposals, cash flow, tax — easier to get right the first time, with practical tools and clear guidance.

This site is built for freelancers worldwide. You can use every tool and template without creating an account. The guidance is written to be applied to real client work, not filed away as something to think about later. Over time, we plan to add deeper workflow support, but usefulness comes first.

If you are trying to set better rates, tighten scope language, or reduce payment stress, start with the Tools section, then use Templates and Guides as your operating playbook.

Who built this

Freelance Hub was built by Jon, a freelance creative and consultant with almsot two decades of experience working independently across design, brand, and visial strategy. Jon has worked with clients ranging from early-stage startups to established agencies, in-house brand teams and large multinationals, mostly in the UAE but internationally too.

The tools and guides here came directly from problems Jon encountered in practice: underpricing early projects, absorbing scope creep without a process to address it, being surprised by tax bills, and spending more time chasing payments than felt reasonable. Most of the content started as personal notes and working documents before being turned into tools others could use.

The site is deliberately general-purpose rather than niche-specific. Freelance business fundamentals — pricing, contracts, cash flow — apply across most creative and knowledge-work disciplines with minor variations. The tools are designed to be adaptable rather than prescriptive.

Questions, corrections, and feedback are always welcome via the contact page.

Editorial policy and quality standards

  • Resources are written for working freelancers and reviewed against practical client workflow use cases, not theoretical ideals.
  • Content is updated when assumptions change — for example, when tax thresholds are revised or when market practices shift. Material updates are reflected in page metadata and noted in the guide.
  • Educational content is never a substitute for local legal, tax, or accounting advice. Where content covers jurisdiction-specific topics, this is clearly noted and official sources are linked.
  • We do not publish content that cannot be verified against real practice. If something is uncertain or varies significantly by region, that uncertainty is stated directly.

Corrections and feedback are welcome via the contact page. If you spot an error, outdated figure, or missing nuance, please let us know.
